Our world has seen centuries of women protesting against gender-based discrimination, pushing for changes in laws, customs, and social practices that hinder their progress. Unfortunately, global gender inequality persists, robbing women of their voices and undervaluing their contributions.

In Kenya, girls and women possess immense potential, yet they face challenges in decision-making, economic opportunities, and various other areas due to the prevailing patriarchal society. Hand in Hand Eastern Africa (HiH-EA) acknowledges this and has initiated a Gender Advocacy Program to tackle gender disparities in its projects.
