Building on previous studies, this article seeks to bring forth personal insights of Sudanese refugees in Jordan. Based on 40 interviews with refugees and humanitarian agencies and extensive participatory engagement, including visits to around 70 households between October 2015 and May 2017, this article explores the housing conditions and sheltering practices among Sudanese refugees in Amman.
