This month, the CASWA 4Mi paper focuses on Afghan refugees and asylum seekers in Indonesia. For years, Indonesia has been a transit country for refugees and asylum seekers due to its geographic proximity to Australia, the opportunity of registering with UNHCR for resettlement and the fact that Indonesia traditionally has been tolerant towards refugees and asylum seekers.
