The conflict in Yemen entered its twenty-fifth month with escalation in fighting being reported in the country’s western coast (Taizz and Al Hudaydah governorates). As previously reported, due to the conflict, monitoring and data collection activities along the Red Sea and Arabian sea coasts continued to be affected, with a majority of monitoring exercises suspended. Therefore the data presented in this report concerning new arrivals in Yemen cannot be considered comprehensive or conclusive.
