In February 2015, 9,560 migrants/refugees crossed into Yemen via the Red Sea (Djibouti) and the Arabian Sea (Somaliland/Puntland), a 9% increase compared with the number of migrants/refugees that arrived in Yemen in January 2015 and a 400% increase compared to the number of migrants/refugees that arrived in February 2014. Irregular flows to Yemen appear to be steadily increasing despite the deteriorating security situation.
